The hardest pill for me to swallow has been that no one will come to save me. No one. Despite the trauma and pain I’ve been subjected to, despite how unfair life has been, no one will come to save me. No one. It’s completely up to me to pick up the pieces and make something I love out of them. Completely up to me to pick myself up and make something out of myself. There will be no best friend and no pretty boy and no parent or family that can save me, that’s my responsibility. I’m my responsibility.
